How am I just learning about this now? A wedding cake built with layers of edible Nintendo fondant… complete with Mario and Princess Peach cake toppers.  Awesome amazing awesomeness!

Super Mario Wedding Cake

Edit: The cake was created by Gateaux, Inc. in Minneapolis.

    haha, this is a great looking cake! It’s funny cuz I am in process of drawing a comic strip with Mario in it. Anyways, just swinging by. Great blog, will come by more often.

    That is awesome. It doesn’t even look like a cake, but more like a statue.

    Jenny, the cake was created by Gateaux, Inc. in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Guess I’ll add that to the post itself.

    Glad you all like it as much as I did!

    That is amazing. I’ve seen a lot of wedding cakes in my time but that is truly the most unique one yet. I wonder if they’ll add it to their website.

    Your right that is very good, the detail is exellent. I would like to know how long it took to make and then build compared to how long it took to eat :~}

    I am so in love with this! I’m picturing an entire “made in the 80′s” theme to go along with it!
