Thanks, Mom. :) And no, I don't think we quite have room for a pony!

Would you be allowed to keep a pony in the backyard at your house?!

Your "Exhibit B" blossom photo immediately became my laptop background photo! Luckily I think you will give me permission to enlarge that photo and hand it in my dental office waiting room which is painted a color similar to the beautiful petals you captured!

I also enjoyed, and agree with, your comment on Heroes. You were the one who got me hooked on that series, thank you very much!

@Yvette: And I want a pony.

Many geographical regions claim to have "the most" unpredictable weather. Utah is no different. You are quite right, though, in that this winter/spring has been odd and longish. On one hand, I'm happy that it snowed more because we'll have more drinking water this year. On the other hand, local communities and idiots alike will swear off any evidence of a drought and stretch our resources more thinly via development.

Haha, expensive camera, no. I have a tiny Canon PowerShot SD850. The close-ups of flowers, where it looks like I have a pricey camera because the background is blurry, is courtesy of the kickass macro setting.

I would love to get a fancy camera with separate lenses one day. Even then, though, I think I would still carry around this tiny powerhouse to capture photos when I'm on the go. At least until they make reasonably priced cameraphones that take 8 megapixel pictures...

Also, while we're dreaming about fancy cameras, I'd also like a tripod and a hi-def camcorder.

That picture of the flowers is gorgeous- Do you have a snazzy, expensive camera?

Also, I sympathize with you and your weather dealings. Unfortunately, weather in Michigan is just about as fickle and unpredictable. But snow in April anywhere in the states just doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Camilla, you got a foot of snow? Yikes! I had to brush off about 4 inches of wet snow when I got to my car yesterday, and woke up to 6+ here at home. But yes, still better than last month when we had ice and THEN a snowstorm.

Jenny, I'm crossing my fingers. Not for the 110 degree heat, but for the 70 degree warmth. :)

Steve, you're right about global warming. Late April snow showers are a clear indication!

Terra, thanks for the permission to whine. I needed it yesterday!

Attempting to brush more than a foot of snow off your car = SUCK. At least there wasn't a layer of ice under the snow.

You can be whiny about your weather, too. From pictures I have seen of Utah weather this winter, you get a lot of the same weather we get in Edmonton. Ours is just a little bit more extreme.
