"I have a deep obsession for Star Wars that surpasses all else, probably because it came first. My dad took me and my brother to see the Special Edition versions of Star Wars when it came out in theatres and afterwards, I was hooked. I played with Star Wars action figures and read some of the books. I read all of the New Jedi Order books and then some of the X-wing series and the Han Solo trilogy by A.C. Crispin. I joined the TF.N Jedi Council forums and started roleplaying Star Wars.

With the advent of Episode III, I became even more excited and bought tickets to the midnight viewing (I had seen The Two Towers and the Return of the King at midnight, and I later saw Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire at midnight as well) and went to work at convincing my parents to letting me to go Indianapolis for the biggest Star Wars convention of them all: Star Wars Celebration III.

I succeeded, and thus I found myself at Indy in the midst of the greatest Star Wars heaven EVAR. It was amazing. I met a lot of my online friends (I've dated someone over the internet, lolz) and bought some Star Wars memorbilia. That's probably the greatest concentration of my geekiness, besides the fact that I work at GameStop. I also called in to Attack of the Show about why geek guys rarely ask out geek girls. It was pretty sweet."
